Jacki Miller
resides in Chicago where she cares for her three children and husband.
Besides being a reviewer she is also a Literary Publicist who desires to
open her own African-American bookstore/coffeehouse in the near future. Her
favorite authors are E. Lynn Harris, Gloria Naylor, Alice Walker, James
Patterson, and Patricia Cornwell.
Tracey Marshall, a Research Coordinating
Supervisor for a medical university and loves to read. She lives in
Philadelphia, PA with her soul mate-Shawn, a cat-Tiger and a dog-Alexis. She
has enjoyed reading since she was able to. She basically read books by
African American authors, but she's open to all book genres. Especially any
book that has some drama to it. A few of her favorite authors are: Brenda
Jackson, Zane, Travis Hunter, Michael Baisden, Keith Lee Johnson, and William
F. Cooper. She has been a Real Reviewer since its inception and has loved
every minute of it.
Davidae "Dee" Stewart is the managing editor
for Suite 101.com's African American Women Writer's Finding Voice, a features
editor for Romance in Coor and the Romer Review, a book reviewer for Read in
Color and Betty Magazine and a contributing writer for Shades of Romance
Magazine, Rejoice Atlanta, Rejoice Valdosta and Common Ground, Inc.
Newspapers. She owns a custom publications/commercial writing consulting
business and is completing her first inspirational romance novel. Her favorite
authors are: Thomas Hardy, Amy Tan, Chuck Palahniuk, Walter Moseley, Percival
Everett, Ngozie Aditchie, Olympia Vernon and Glenville Lovell.
Anna Horn began her love of reading with
the Bernstein Bear series in kindergarten and worked her way up to the ranks
of a R.E.A.L. Reviewer in the fall of 2003. She is a native of Seattle, WA.
After attaining her bachelor's degree in English in May 2004, Anna will be
beginning work on a master's degree in library and information science in the
fall of 2004. She intends to specialize in archiving upon completion of her
schooling. Some of Anna's favorite authors are; bell hooks, Angela Davis,
Assata Shakur, Loure Bussey, and Jewell Parker-Rhodes. Drama and narratives
are Anna's favorite genres of African American literature.
Stacy D. Campbell currently resides in
Columbus, Ohio with her three children. She is an avid reader, reviewer,
author and fulltime employee. Her favorite authors are Mary Monroe, "I
really enjoy reading her work on mentally disturbed characters her creative
imagination is simply wonderful" and E. Lynn Harris, "His books are always a
fast read with drama". To date she has published Secrets and
is currently working on a collection of short stories and poetry with four
other wonderful writers titled, Anger Management.
Stephanie Wilkerson-Hester, devoted
wife and mother of two resides in Baltimore, MD. Outside of being a reviewer
she is also a Copy-Editor / Proof-reader launching her own business. She is
an avid read by nature and does nothing without a good book close by. While
not having any clear favorites or preferences of author / genre, she does
enjoy expanding her knowledge with different material.
